Larry has been released from Riverview and is at home.
They scheduled him for OT and PT today :D Which is good - gives him a chance to say good bye to everyone. It's great for him to come home, but bittersweet to say goodbye to everyone who was so wonderful.
I got there early, and went with him to PT and OT. His OT was pretty sad to see him go - she wanted to keep working with him, to watch him progress. He was able, again, to grasp a couple of blocks and then let them go :D
Coming home was .....interesting. We stopped to pick up his scripts, and were told, first - that they'd sent them to the another pharmacy, because Larry hadn't used the one I asked for in a while. Second, that "there's no way we can get them done today". So - I just asked if there was any way to get a few days now, and then pick up the blister packs on Monday. That was agreeable, so off we went home.
Had lunch, and then Larry had a goooood nap :) Did a bit of picking up in the apartment, and then off to get meds.
The pharmacy went above and beyond! They got all the blister packaging done! WOW!
Larry did a bit of OT therapy at home, and did pretty good. :)
On to the next phase of our lives....
